Bringing artistic problem solving to the final steps of filmmaking.

I specialize in the compositing, visual effects, and finishing stages of content ranging from short form ads and branded content to documentary feature films. I am passionate about the way post production processes can be used to seamlessly expand the story world of a project beyond what was possible on set.  I pride myself on knowing the right tools, having the skill set, and understanding the workflow to creatively achieve these results.

While attending Emerson College in Boston, I worked as a manager in the school's digital production lab.  During my time at Emerson, I also led the school's student documentary club, Captured Emotion.  In 2015, I graduated with a degree in Film Production.  Following the move to Los Angeles I began working at Light Iron, a company specializing in post production workflow, color, and finishing.  In the fall of 2015, I joined Breakwater Studios as the Head of Post Production.  During my time on staff, I oversaw the technical elements of picture editing, sound, color, visual effects and finishing.  I also integrated technology solutions to increase the scale and bandwidth of the post department through enterprise storage and network solutions.

In the fall of 2017, I left my staff position at Breakwater Studios to pursue visual effects and compositing full time.  As an artist in residence, I'm partnering with Breakwater to continue offering these services on the studios' high quality projects, and to offer these services to a wide range of clients.

My personal skill set focuses on compositing, color, finishing, file management, editorial workflow, and IT infrastructure.  I love the outdoors and spend as much time as possible hiking, skiing, climbing, and enjoying all the opportunities we have in Southern California.  My various cameras also join me on many of these trips (as seen in the photos on this site).
